The world has many wrongs, and many wars, but there's only one wrong Iraq war.

Laundromat

When you're at the laundromat and start your clothes (in washer) (or, dryer) you're persented with a dilema. Do you stay there and guard (wait) your clothes? (But this can take 45 minutes - one (1) hour so boring!) Or do you go down the street and get a e.g. cheese steak (Cheesesteak place (mm tasty)). then time it to come back when, they're done?

Here's the thing. Advantages to going - (a) more efficient use of time (if you wait for you're clothes, you just have to go get cheesesteak LATER takes more total time). (b) good eating (sooner). (self explanetory). (c) don't have to wait there in plastic chair for clothes reading Pennysaver or e.g. exciting Dan Brown novel which, you brought.

The way I put it there it just seems like a no brainer doesn't it? Go for it!

BUT hold on. THINK for a change. This' is not a one way street here.

If you take off and let you're clothes, dry (on their own) the following things can happen. (a) lose your plastic chair (can be important if lots of people) can't get it back. when you get back you have to STAND waiting for clothes reading Davinci code doesn't seem so smart now does it? (b) drying finishes soon - impatient person (i.e. go getter yuppy type) tapping fingers waiting for free dryer sees your motionless clothes says "damn slacker" takes your clothes out, puts, Them on the top of dryer (or somewhere, like table), to start his clothes. (b1) what if you're clothes wasn't finishes? still wet? now smoldering damp on top of table (sucks!). tipical laundromat dryer - doesn't finish (like towels) - DAMN I hate that. (b2) anyway either way sucks, to have your clothes put on dirty dusty dingy laundromat table. (Defeats logically the whole purpose of laumdromat trip). (c) clothes can get stolen i.e. your favorite shirt, etc. by local domicilically challenged former college class auditor.

So, in my experience (if you ask me) it can actually be wiser to wait.

Where, am I going with this?

Consider (if you please) what happened with Afghanistna. We ALL agreed about Afghanistna RAH RAH go in there, We all said. We was were all on board for, taht. Afghanistna is the REAL war on terror. (By definition). Then we did it and started that reconstruction rolling. (reconstruction is like laundry in, my metaphor FYI).

But Bush just couldn't resist that cheesesteak down the street in Iraq could he?? Thus leaving the Afghanistna job totally unfinished - unsecure - unsafe - unclean (like unwatched laundry in laundromat).

Perhaps now, You start to see my point here?

Good metafor! I am heartily agreeing with it.
Afghanistna needed to be added to with Fabric softerner (fabric of society)
which has to be poored in the proper cycle in oolder machines (older regimes)
Therefore Bush leaving Afganistnaians itchy and wrinkly while Iraq children, troops, big media etc, are put in the 'spin' cycle.
