Announcement: TIWWWBprov Everywhere

If you haven't Improv Everywhere check it out. Anwyays that got to me thinking, could we incorporate that sort of gonzo approach into are efforts (to say The Iraq War was wrong repeatedly and incessantly until everyone everwhere concedes The Iraq War was wrong).

Yes we can. I call it TIWWWBprov Everywhere.

So I took of the afternoon today and got a shake and tried to figure out what we can do. Here's my idea for are first mission:

Mission 1: Train Full Of The Iraq War Was Wrong

The idea is so simple it's ingenious. It's to takes place in New York City like all the best Improv Everywhere stunts on account of, they seem to have the best Improvers there.

On the specified day, Friday May 9th, at 7:10 a.m. in the morning, our interpid TIWWWBprov Everywherers will board (or arrange to have boarded beforehand at an earlier stop), say, the Uptown 6 (local) train at the 86th Street station. Once aboard, each Player will either stare straight ahead and sit/stand silently, or look down at an open book they are holding in their hands as if reading, occasionally turning the page. (Books optional).

At Grand Central/42nd Street (or, say, 23rd, depending on where they need to go ect) a few minutes later, the TIWWWBprov Everywhere Players will then get off the very same train, exit the station, and go their separate ways, not having said a word the whole time, with no one's the wiser. IMPORTANT: DURING THE MISSION, DON'T LET ON TO ANYONE WHAT'S GOING ON. If anyone asks, you're just a commuter going to his job as a COO at some bank or wahtever.

But once the mission's over, if approached (by reporter's or whoever) we say we did it because The Iraq War was wrong. Just like that: "Because The Iraq War was wrong".

Folk's I can already tell this is going to be a classic. I've talked to Jim about it already and he's promised to get up there from Charlottesville to video the whole thign. (Sorry I can't be there for this one/prior engagement). Anyways LET'S DO IT people.

Reason I'm so exited you ask is because this is frankly one of the best idea's I've had in a long time.

UPDATE (5/9) Just got of the chat with Jim and he says it was AWSOME! THe way it went down and the way he describe's it. Just wow. I'm amazed too because I thought I screwed it up by typoing that you guy's should use Uptown instead of Downtown. But Jim says there was literadely HUNDRED'S of people on the Train Of Wrong so I guess you figured it out. See, that's why I have some of THE BEST blog readers going. Anyways he got it all on tape and it sounds helarious, I'll try to figure out how to post the video when i get it.

The Horror of War: By the Numbers

Some times a piture says more then words can ever hope to, like when I made this grapf.

Some of these is not "so-called" hard numbers, I did my best estimate. Lancet ect. I assume full repsponsibility for any small errors that may remain in the data.

Let me further clarify. I made no effort to include --> EVERY <-- War because the graph would of been to wide. Some War's had to go. So no Vikings, no Wars of the Roses, no Seige of Lothlorien.

More contraversial will be my choices of what deaths to exclude. I agonized about this, and so my numbers are low if anything. Like what if some body gets killed but --> IT'S THERE OWN FAULT <-- should they be on there I decided No. Like if Bush got killed in Iraq? I wouldn't count him because he lied us into it. In World War 2 some would say my numbers is to low. Well I'm sorry if you read about the history of it the neocons brung it on their self. Was there even a so-called holacaust I understand there is some doubt among scolars. If you read about it.

Geurilla Marketing

Maybe we could do a like geurilla marketing campaign. Like what happened in New York or Conneticut or wherever that was (which BWT RFLFOL). But instead it would be about how The Iraq War was wrong.

I'm just thinking out loud but if I made a sign and than put the sign in a place were people don't usuelly expect to see signs. (Just one example) I think that would be like geurilla marketing (someone help?).

Thing thing is, I know thats just a work in progress but we gotta to do something. I've just realized that The Iraq War was from 4 years ago. That's 4 years ago that a wrong thing happened and were not talking about it nearly enough. In fact to come perfectly clean, I'm not blogging about it nearly enough. How could I not of written blog post's the last few days about how The Iraq War was wrong?

That's was wrong of me and I apologize.

Meanwhile we're still in Iraq (we meaning are troops) and I don't want to be there (which are troops are). I'm tired of it (being there). (Well, do YOU like being in Iraq? Be honest.) Like you, it's RELLY affected my life in a poorly manner and, I'm sorry but I've had it. The Amreicans have had it. ENOUGH with this occupation that's affected the vast majority of Amreican's lives in such a tangibly negative manner.

And for what? So that some Iraqis could have "so" called "civilization"'. Wake up Neocons THE DON"T WANT CIVILIZATION. That's your hangup not theres. Iraqis are ARABS. Say it with me ARABS. That's a different kind of people last time I check and just because you want civilization does'nt mean THEY do. Talk about Westocentric. Like that movie everone's seeing my goodness. 300 against a zillion Arabs were do they make this stuff up.

I heard on the new's another bomb. Killed 37 people or whatever. You see what I'm saying? Those 37 people don't want your crabby "civilization" or "protection" and the proved it. Why else did they get bombed? (Can't answer huh. Speachless I bet. Tipical.) Because the don't want civilization. They LIKE "so" called "terrorists" which is why they let them do it.

Don't start me here I'm just getting started. Boy I haven't been this heated up in ALONG time. SErously what is wrong with people. "Let's have a military presence in Iraq for caretake/renconstruction' HEY GREAT IDEA. As if MUSLAM's want to have a country that's not get attacked by terroists or whose cival structure's function. Do you know anything about MUSLAM'S guess not well if you were more multicultural you would understand THE DON"T WANT THAT AT ALL. You facists your all the same. Everone's got to be the same as you WELL THERE NOT. Facts is facts and Arabs (Mislams) is totally different (intrinsically) that's what your missing in your rascism. Its time to get out of there and let them do there thing whether its strongman or militia's or whatever. If they don't have that how could they even be Arab's (Muslim's). A Arab country with no strongman how is that even Arab?? It's like you guys want to basically ethnic cleanse them basically by taking away WHAT THEY ARE.

Hey tahts a pretty good draft of what the geurilla marketing could say actually. Maybe we could print this up and put it somewere that people don't expect to see flyer's. Wow I'm glad I did this post I think were finally accomplishing something. Today's is a good day. And Idol results tonight too! Man this is sweet I hope Sanjay stay's in there. Its a close call because at this point America is TOTALLY rascist against Arab's its just increidble.

Book

You know what someone should do know is write a book about how The Iraq War was wrong. A full-on book which's TOTALLY researched and everything. Where they just lay it all out there step by step for everone to see (how it's was wrong). Has anyone thought of doing this? It just seems to me that we can talk and talk and blog about hwo The Iraq War was wrong but the time has long past come for some real action. Just imagine how Bush would fell if there was a whole BOOK about The Iraq War was wrong selling like hotcakes. ROFLOF he'd be totally embarrass is what. And I don't see how he could keep doing The Iraq War under those cirscumstances.
